What exactly is an errand service?
At DESOTO HELP Errand Services, we take care of the errands that you either don’t have the time for, or would simply prefer not to do.
We provide the services that seem to eat up many of your daily hours, leaving you time to pursue the things that matter most to you, whether it’s putting your feet up and reading a novel, spending precious time with family and friends, or advancing your career.
We can also be a big help to new parents, senior citizens and their caregivers, and those who may be recuperating from an illness and injury and are unable to get around as well as usual.
Who can use an errand service?
Everybody! Senior citizens, busy families, new parents, and small businesses can all benefit from the services we provide. We can help take care of all the little details and give you the peace of mind of simply knowing that everything on your “to-do” list is actually done!
What and how do you charge for errand services?
DESOTO HELP Errand Services charges $10 for 10 miles – Pickup & Delivery within a 10 mile radius of your home to the destination. You are responsible for all expenses incurred (cost of your groceries, postage, dry cleaning, etc.). There are no membership fees, obligations, or “hidden charges.” Our rate is set, whether you call us three times a week, or once a month. The only exception is service requested to be done out of our jurisdiction may result in a small additional fee.
Can I set up a monthly or weekly schedule?
Of course. We'd be happy to discuss how we can best meet your needs. At that time, we can work out a weekly or monthly schedule of service that suits you, or you can simply remain on an “on-call” basis. The choice is always yours.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We currently only accept payment online through paypal or in person by credit/debit card. You will be given a detailed invoice of the service provided. Payment is due at completion of services, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Do I have to call weeks ahead to schedule?
Absolutely not! While we prefer at least a 24 hour notice for most errands in order to best schedule for the needs of all clients, we certainly understand that it isn’t always possible. There may be days when you simply don’t know ahead of time that you will need help. We will make every effort to accommodate same day requests, so please don’t hesitate to call whenever the need arises.
I called your office and there was no answer. Why?
DESOTO HELP Errand Services is an “on the road” type of business. Thus, if no one answers your call at the main number (662) 469-3014, that means that we are out running errands for our clients. So, please leave a message if your call is not answered, and your call will be returned promptly, usually within fifteen minutes.
What if I want to order errand services for someone else?
Gift Certificates are always available, or we can work with clients to set up a custom plan. For instance, if you have an elderly relative or new parents that you would like to set up weekly, monthly, or even one-time services for, we will be glad to work out the details with you. We can even give you a call after every visit to your relative’s home to let you know how things are going.
